EATING FOR ENERGY

I am a Pilates Intructor, massage therapist and clinical hypnotherapist. I was diagnosed with CFS in 2009. I had not long gone fully self employed teaching Pilates and co-running a therapy centre.
My first reaction was abject fear and panic. I rang my mother in tears. How was I going to cope? I knew I was already finding work a struggle and hadn't been exercising as much as I had done but I thought I was still recovering from a virus, though that had been several months prior. Once I had got a handle on myself I approached all our therapists and had various treatments over the ensuing weeks, months and years. I found as my symptoms changed so did the success of the therapies but the one thing that had an almost immediate success was the nutritional advice I'd been given. I changed my diet quite extensively. The following year I attended a retreat, got more nutritional advice and changed my diet again. I now grow a lot of my own veg and salad organically and order an organic veg box once a week. I constantly fiddle with my recipes and have published a book that is available on Amazon. The recipes here are samples that can be found in the book which also contains a lot of nutrition information on the foods best for energy. I have been a veggie since 1992 and all the recipes are vegetarian but with options to add white meat/fish. The recipes, like any other new way of eating, do take a bit of a mind shift, but if you persevere you will win through. In the book, you will find hints on creating a shift-shelf you help you.
